How can I get rid of crickets?

For the past couple of weeks I have been hearing and finding crickets in my house. I know people say its good luck...but I don't really care about that. They are irritating and annoying...especially when you hear them but can't find them. Please tell me how to get rid of them...it would also be helpful if someone could tell me why they are showing up all of a sudden.

lol haha you've got crickets...i hate that, cause you cant sleep, and they're hard to find.
