How can I get rid of gnats, INSIDE MY HOME!!! Please help!!!?

Keep the cage very clean, fresh bedding, remove old food, and f***s daily. Clean feeding trays every day. Clean your kitchen and bathrooms, esp. the kitchen.

Gnats are drawn by food and food to them includes waste. Make sure your house and the guinea pig's cage is clean and the gnat problem will go away.

Make sure doors and windows are properly closed and sealed, windows and screens, and doors in good repair.

If you buy fresh fruit and veggies, use them up quickly, do not allow them to sit out for more than a couple days or so, they draw gnats.

I have had the gnat problem :( I called around asking for advice. One lady I talked to told me to go and get a can of Hot Shot for flying insect.
