How can I get rid of little black ants found in a cloth couch. I have vac'd under couch andcushions?

i have vaccuumed under couch and took out cushions and also vaccuumed really well. Hopefully they don't com back but what cn i do if they do come back? throw out couch?

Don't throw the couch away.    Have it sprayed.    There are sprays that are not harmful to humans AND animals.    That is, unless the couch is a piece of junk!!  LOL

I'd use a non-residual aerosol.  Flip the couch over, and if the couch isn't a sleeper it'll have light cloth going across the bottom. Rip it off and treat. You don't need to put it back on. It's just there in case someone wants to show someone else how pretty the bottom of their couch is.

I don't think they're living in your couch, though it could happen. Look for ant activity elsewhere.

Oh, and before Kim G posts, mixing cinnamon and sugar will not kill ants. Ants do not eat solid food, so they don't have the ability to swallow cinnamon. She's been spreading that rumor for a long time.

Get some good bait, it will take care of them.  I wouldn't suggest spraying them unless you spray them with Phantom.  But try the maxforce ant bait first, its a lot less money then a bottle of phantom.  

The other good news about the bait is that they will carry to to all of their locations, not just the couch.  So the whole infestation will die.  Sprays may help eliminate some of the infestation, but sprays will never eliminate all of the colony.
