How can I get rid of my home phone?

I want to disconnect my home phone (land line) and still have access to my DSL and alarm system. I know i can get what is called DRY LOOP, for my DSL, but is there a way to keep my alarm system and not have a home phone?

Unplugging the phone line doesn't get rid of the bill for it. I dont think there is going to be a way to let go of your home phone and keep the alarm.

If you can not have just a "DSL" line (I had the same question because we only use cell phones now. I asked and my phone company offered DSL only) you can simply remove the telephone from the wall. That way you will still have the phone line for your alarm.
