How can I get rid of spider outside on my porch?

We keep getting these black spiders that have a little white spot on there back on my porch. My wife is scared of them and screams when ever she sees one. They are mean little things too. I was trying to burn one with a grill lighter and it stuck up two legs like it wanted to fight.

What is an effective way to get rid of them?? Besides burning them as I see them with a lighter or smashing them.

ummm bug spray or house airosol can things or kill them

Collect them ...put them in a box...make a pie or a cake or brownie and smash them up and stick them in the brownies and feed them to someone you hate .

Thats what I would do if i Hated them ...But I like them ...I have a lot in my bathroom and I have ants too...so I drop live ants onto their webs and watch the spiders eat them...Its so fun .
