How can I get rid of spiders that are infesting my home?

There are spiders on my porch, hanging out in every nook and cranny of my home. They have pretty much taken over the basement, and I am too afraid to do laundry now. We bought spray stuff, and it just makes them a little irritated. We've tried citronella candles outside, but those don't really do anything for spiders. Have you heard anything about an electric device that sends a high pitch signal? I heard it might work but I don't know much about it.

BOMBS..... not like but blow your house up but mothballs should do the trick......hint read all the directions before use.... if that ddoesn'twork call pest control

Go to a store and get some raid bombs and set them off

yep, bombs and mothballs, mothballs are a good repellent, I've used them
