How can I get rid of this buzzy sound I am getting while watching?

a movie on my new player. I have a very old tv, only coax on the back, so I had to get a box thing to run my wires through. The buzz stops and starts, it goes for 10-15 secs and stops for about 2-3 secs. over and over help!

  1. check your connections on the back of the player, and the rf modulator, and the tv, if everything is tight and problem persists, try returning the modulator and getting a new one,


  2. get a ground isolation  block! or much cheaper reverse two balons and tie them into your cable system! the blocks are about 59$ the balons 2bucks a piece.

  3. move the speakers wires around.,.. just play with them while the tv is on

  4. Your RF modulator is probably defective.  You could also try changing the output on the RF modulator from channel 3 to channel 4 or vice versa. You may be getting interference from something else.  Changing the channel changes the frequency, and it might be enough to eliminate the noise.
