  1. Well, there are a couple of ways...

First off... How much soil and debris do you have on your driveway that grass can even take hold?

The FIRST thing you should do is get out a small shovel or a stiff broom and first pull out as much grass as possible then brush/scoop away as much of the soil as you can. To stop it from growing back, every day for at least 2 weeks pour boiling water with 2 teaspoons of salt in it on the area once or, if you have the time, twice a day.

If it is a matter of cracks allowing grass to grow, pull out the grass, scrape out the soil, then use an appropriate sealant for the material (Asphalt or Concrete etc.) on the cracks.

If I were you, I would go to Home Depot and ask the experts to help you out... Bring some photos...

    Good luck!

  2. Spray it with some round-up and after it is dead cut it with a weedeater. Sweep or blow off the dead grass and spray again in a few days in case there were any seeds from the grass.

  3. Pull it out and then sprinkle weed and feed or pour gasoline. That will keep it from growing back.

  4. I had this same problem, and I asked my lawnmower man how to rid of it, and it has been wonderful since!

    The secret is.....

    BOILING WATER!

I couldnt believe it initially, but he insisted that I do it, so I boiled water once a day to put on the grass, and did this for about 2 weeks and it never came back! (Thankyou Lawnmower man!!)

Water is better than those nasty chemicals that dont do the job!

  5. I always used a weed whacker, it;s light and everyone has one don't forget to use goggles to protect your eyes

  6. By the sounds of it, you do not want to kill it, (turn brown) so

I guess what you want is to cut it down? Lawnmower or trimmer.

Or, you put salt and boiling water on it though that will definitely

kill it, and make it turn brown, and then you must pull it out.

  7. pour some hot water on it this will burn the roots.

  8. Use "Round-Up". It will kill the grass but will be neutral to the soil near by.
