How can I get songs that are on my Ipod, back onto my computer?

I made the mistake of deleting a bunch of songs on my hard drive. they are still in my I tunes, but i cant make changes or put them on our other ipod because the MP3 isnt on the hard drive. they are still on my ipod. so can i transfer them back to the computer? thanks.

  1. just drag the music from itunes to a folder on your computer or wherever you have your music  


  2. yes, it can be done, but it will cost you. there are programs out there, but if you have a mac their are free programs on the apple website

  4. yes you can bring back your music from your ipod to your computer.

    Ok so plug in your ipod into your computer then enable disk mode. then go to my computer and click on your ipod. theres this hidden folder called "ipod_control". to view it, go to tools, then folder options and select view. mark the one that says show hidden folders and files. then you'll see the ipod_control folder. click on it then it'll show music. so then, just click on the folders inside and copy the music to your itunes or whatever. now you get your mp3s back! yay! =]
