How can I get sponsored for Miss Teen NC USA pageant?

I don't really understand how or what to do or say PLEASE HELP!

You go to the buisness you want to sponcer you and say

Hi my name is _____ and i am the Represenitive of NC in the MIss Teen USA pagent and i was hoping that you would help me by sponcering me!

That is what i said and i got Them to sponcer me

I was Sponcered by  JC Pennys last year

go to locally owned stores and business's big chain stores like McDonald's will not help. Dress nice and walk into the store (like salons, little flower shops, dry cleaners, tanning salons) shake their hand and Say something like...

Hello my name is ____ i am planning to participate in the miss teen NC pageant this summer, where i would be given the opportunity to represent our state of NC. There is an entry fee to particate as a potential sponsor i am asking you if you would be willing to help me with the funds needed to participate. As a sponsor your business would receive advertisement for being in our pageant program book, and your donation is tax deductible.

Then say thank you remember to smile when asking even if they say no. Remember to ask to talk to their owners not just any employee! You can have multiple sponsors not just one so don't tell someone that they might have too pay all of that money maybe they could pay half or how ever much they want will help. If you have any brochures to show them that is also good to do so they know it isn't a scam.
