How can I get sprint to give me a free new phone?

well my phone has been messing up lately, i cant call certain people and i cant receive alot of phone calls or text messages. Its not a service thing, because when this happens and i always have 3 to 5 bars and its not my friends phone i really want to fix this and i dont have a warranty on it HELP!?! so what do and can sprint give me a new phone for this?

It may be difficult to get them to give you a free phone if you haven't purchased the insurance.  Even with the insurance, they won't cover water damage.

How long have you been a customer of Sprint?  It will help if you've been a customer for a while.  I'd simply call their customer service and explain the problem.  If you're close to your renewal date, you may be able to negotiate a new phone upon renewal.  Tell them the problem you're having with your phone; they may be able to repair it.
