  1. 22, no experience 193 pounds?  How tall are you? (that's important).  At this point I would say dont even THINK about sparring, dont even THINK about hitting pads until you start RUNNING.  You are carrying too much weight (unless of course you're 6'4" or more -- which is unlikely).

You need to RUN, SWIM, and learn how to jump rope effectively and WELL, concentrating on your rythmn and timing.  Shadow boxing to work on form and footwork.

Diet:  Eat smaller portions more frequently (6-8 times) and eat vegetables.

  2. Run and run and run and run and run.

  3. The advice would be the same if you are 12 22 or 52.

Find a gym and a trainer.  As has been said before, you need to start running, as you are likely carrying a few extra pounds.

Run, run, run, you will need it for stamina once you are ready to get into the ring.

Find a gym so you can learn to box without hurting yourself.

    Best of luck!

  4. practice makes perfect. fight amateur till 26 then turn pro youll be ok.
