  1. go 2 college and sign  up

  2. It depends do you just want to play a game or do you want to be on a team? I would look at the local papers and maybe even google it. I'm on a club indoors team and we do beach volleyball too!

  3. Get out an go playing.

You'll need a partner for the beach, so if you don't have anyone in mind you'll probably want to start looking.

Go to your nearest courts and there will undoubtedly be some people playing.  Ask them if they want to play, and likely they will.  Practice control and find a good partner, and participate in some amateur tournaments.  They're lots of fun, and for people of all skill levels.  You'll see how you compare to the other players.

  4. I would start by going to www.usavolleyball.org and looking up the region where you live. They should have a website with some information on it. Now this will most likely be for indoor volleyball but on my region's website we have links to the outdoor leagues and tournaments in the area.

If there is nothing there you could try emailing the commishioner of the region and they may be able to put you in touch with someone who can help you out.

  5. If you know people that play, go with them!  Beach volleyball is fun but is different from court.  It's harder to run and jump in the sand.  Plus, the wind comes into play in beach volleyball too so take that into account.
