Use a liquid eye liner to make your eyes look huge and innocent looking, a light blush, and I think she was wearing a neutral or nude color lipstick. Just don't look too overdone, and make it classy :D

Definitely modernize her look.  Wear simple garments with clean lines.  Black.  Sleeveless top that comes up high around your chest.   Flashy jewelry, that you can totally get away with when wearing a simple black outfit. Big sunglasses for sure, and simple makeup, and make sure to play up your eyes with a good mascara.  You're sure to look great!
