I don't watch that much tv & I also can't really afford cable. I currently use an antena, but the reception is awful. How can I get reception as clear as with cable tv, without cable?

  1. Make this Antenna Costs about 10-15 dollars

I know it says for hdtv but an antenna oes not know wether or not the signal is HD or not its just one of those phrases that make people think that its of higher quality itll work on almost any tv. I did it and i was amazed how good it was really quite cool

  2. They are now selling digital converter boxes, which, if you live in the united states, you will have to have to make an antenna work come February. Considering that they convert the analog signal picked up by your antenna to digital, chances are the reception will be somewhat better. And there's the obvious fiddling around with the position of your antenna, placing it near sections of the wall with copper plumbing or wiring running through them to boost the strength of the antenna, and questionable use of tin foil *dons hat*...other than that, barring anything illegal, there isn't much else you can do to improve your reception.

  3. Only with satellite's tv which also costs money. After some time next year antennas will no longer be able to pick up a tv signal and you will have to buy a converter box or get cable anyway.
