How can I get the current day's date on my desktop?

I want the day's date on my screen at all times. Can this be done?

right click on the bottom blue bar on the desktop, and right click. click on properties, the taskbar and start menu properties window is going to pop up, click on the box that says show the clock. click apply. then close the window, and double click on the clock and you can set the day and the time.

I'm guessing that you dont have a clock at the bottom left corner.

All you do is right click the taskbar and select properties. Then check "show the clock."

double click over you current time, and it will give you the option to do so. Date and time properties will appear. It is so simple you will see

the clock is always on the lower right side of the screen. if you make the task bar wider, you will see the clock and day of the week. if you put the arrow on that corner, you see a pop up with the date. if you double click, you will see the clock and a calendar.

see the time on the bottom right side of your screen.. well double click that... a calendar will pop up
