How can I get the fishy smell off the sea shells?

I just bought a bunch of starfish from ebay and they have a strong fishy smell on them. Is there anything I can rinse them with to get rid of the smell? Maybe lemon or something else.

I'm using them for my wedding.

paint them with clear paint. maybe a clear coat spray paint.

Lemon juice will help, soak them in that.

Boil water in sauce pan and add two bay leaves.  Simmer and put the sea shells in the pan for about 4 minutes.

Baking soda with cold water may also work.

Soak them in bleach, lemon juice, or baking soda, all have been proven to chemically reduce odor; if not, you could use some Febreze =]
