How can I get the registration for my jet skis?

I 2 and a trailer to haul them from some friends. I have been asking for about 5 months for the registration that they were suppose to bring by after I sent the check to them. I have brought it up more times than I am comfortable with. I cannot use them without the registration. Is there a way for me to go around them and get it?

If you got a bill of sale,anything in writing regarding the jet skis, take

that and your copy of check, preferably from bank, to the local DMV and tell them what happened.  Also, you might want to check with

your insurance company to be sure that you have complete coverage

for recreational usage for jet skis and the trailer themselves.
