Question:

How can I get the school to take me off of their autodialer?

They have called twice this weekend already, as well as once Friday. I called and complained before, and they took my home number off, but now they call me on my cell phone. They feel the need to notify me with a phone call every single time there is kindergarten registration (I have only one child), district meetings, when they are getting a new principal, etc. I can see why they would call if my child is sick or something, or if she's absent (she is in third grade, like I won't notice she's home sick anyway). How can I make them stop? Can I tell them to only notify me in an emergency, or what?

  1. just ask them to remove your number. If that doesn't work then probably you could try and block the number?

  2. Literally nothing you can do to get them to stop as long as you give them your number.

Give your child a cell phone if you have not already done so.

Change your number and do not give this number to the school.

    Good luck!

  3. Our school allows you to SIGN up for those calls. If you do not wish to recive them then you should be able to cancel it. They are REQUIRED to contact you in emergancys though regardless.
