How can I get the weather and/or temperature of my city downloaded onto my task bar?

I went to weatherchannel.com and weather.com and downloaded a program but it wasn't working so I deleted it. Does anyone else know of a program I can download to get weather info. and temperatures?

Our local NBC station has a free down load with weather and news alerts, check out your area networks. The temperature is on the task bar and weather a click away.

Google will put it on your homepage if you want Google as your homepage. I expect moving it to your task bar can be done by request.
