One Mo’ Time

Heads up as I

Head down to Fourchon

Down the bayou

Not too far

Alligator gar quick

Chase dat choupique

Dos gris fly by as

Shrimp boats sit dry

This wets my soul

Never gets old to

Catch another wave

Goodbye for shore

Once more to sea

Salted souls like me

This beauty is a given

For me it’s a living

Even when I do cry

I never ever ask why

As long as I’m with you

It's what I do

It’s what I do

  1. Really nice HYDROPRO. ur name goes well with this poem.

I like the rhythm of this poem. It`s like a song. Were you grooving when you wrote this?

  2. The Ocean is your tears,

    this I see so well,

    A part of you,

    A life time through,

    your endless hopes

    do dwell.

A Seaman you will always be,

    It's scriptured in your Heart,

    But remember,

    she who waits ashore,

    Her love,you'll never part.

  3. In the words of Justin Wilson, "You can't get there from here."

  4. Trosclair would applaud.  I must introduce Granny J. to Trosclair.

(It's the attack of the giant eraser...who is suggesting:  Tricolor, Tricycle, and Rescale.)

  5. I LOVE IT

  6. I liked this... the beauty of the world while leaning over iron rails with the wind in your face.  but I am disappointed, I wanted more cajun and you barely whetted my appetite. French should be the universal language and cajun should be its slang. Do you not agree mon ami?

  7. Its not that great no offence

  8. YES !!

    'nuff said.
