How can I get to Charlottesville without car?

I'm now in Centreville but I don't have a car. How can I get to Charlottesville tomorrow? Is there a shuttle bus that can take me to the place? Thank you.

BTW, I can ask my friend to take me to places no more than 20 miles.

2 choices:

1 Greyhound.  Call for the nearest pickup point to you.  i think it's Springfield, now.

2. Train from Manassas.  The Crescent makes the trip each evening.  Call Amtrak.

take a bus or ride or hire someone to take you if all fails then i just don't know what to tell you except make this your first marathon

go to the local small plane airport. ask around in the lounge for a ride. offer to help pay for gas gets you the ride.
