  1. tube from victoria to london bridge or charing cross and train to greenwich - i used to live there its a great place

  2. There are a number of ways this can be done, however none direct.

Simplist is Greenwich Station on South Eastern Trains to Charing Cross Station. Walk down to Embankment Underground Station, onto District or Circle service heading west to Victoria Station.

    Or.....

Out of Charing Cross, walk across Trafalgar Square into the Mall, up to Buckingham Palace and down Buckingham Palce Road to Victoria Station (15 - 20 min walk), or walk down to emankment, along thames to Westminster, then up Victoria Street (20 - 25mins) depending on traffic.

    Or ....

Into Charing Cross then Bus from The Strand to Victoria (sorry dont know the number)

    Or ....

Train to Waterloo East, cross footbridge to London Waterloo Main, SWT Train to Clapham Junction, change there to Southern Service to London Victoria.

    Or ...

DLR from Greenwich to Bank via Canary Wharf, change to Bank Underground Station and walk through to Monument Station via esclator link, District or Circle Line to Victoria

    Or....

Train to London Bridge, onto Low level to catch Southern Service to Victoria via Peckham Rye (this is the longest journey)

Or if you are really feeling generous with your time and dont have to rush, River Bus from Greenwich Pier to Embankment Pier, then Underground on Circle or District to Victoria.

  3. London Victoria to London Cannon Street, then from there to Greenwich.

Or London Victoria to London Charing Cross, then from there to Greenwich.

    to find out timings.

  4. by using the train to carry you from Victoria Train Station.

  5. If you go to the Transport for London site at http://www.tfl.gov.uk/ you can use their journey planner.

If you have the exact address it can even give you walking instructions from the nearest tube or train station or bus stop.

It will give you a number of options for most journeys, with time - including train, tube, bus and walking in the best combinations.
