Question:

How can I get to the point when I'm going number 2, 2x a day?

Lately I feel like what I'm putting in is not what's coming out, very watery and thin. I was taking fiber capsules everyday but then I realized you can become dependent on them. I eat bananas everyday but heard they can stop you up so I stopped for a week. I take apple cider vinegar every day. Any advise would be great! ( When I was going twice a day I felt awesome!)

  1. So long as the fiber caps you were taking are indeed only fiber, (psyllium, flax seed, apple/grapefruit pectin, etc.) then you cannot become dependant on them.  Its when you get into the herbal laxitives that you can become dependant on them, (senna, cascara segrada, etc.)

You need more fiber!!  Simple as that.  Drink more water too as this will help flush things from your system.  More whole grain breads, more fruits and veggies, whole grain rice, etc.

  2. Drink plenty of eater, eat a variety of fruits and veggies, keep the meats to a minimum, and don't eat too much dairy.

  3. green Tea works pretty good for me..

  4. For sure this will work.Formula 1 and Formula 2 by Dr. Schulzes. We have had amazing results.

  5. Raw vegetables.  Lots of them.  Raw baby carrots are the easiest, since the bags at the store are pre-prepped.  Also, with carrots, it's easy to see when it starts working.

Your fiber should come from food- vegetables like carrots, celery, and cauliflower pass through the intestines incredibly quickly, and sweep out everything else.   All you need is some ranch dip!

Raw foodists (myself included) tend to go every few hours.

  6. some fiber capsule do have a laxative in them

it is the laxative in them that you can be dependent on not the fiber.

flax seed oil capsules are good

    flax seed fiber is great

you got to make sure that you get a very good quality

there are things that are better

    like eating whole grains.

    oatmeal (not instant)

    red river

    oat bran

    cream of wheat

make sure that your bread is whole grain and read the label

depending on what country you live in

as white flour is part of the grain so the bread can have very little "whole grain"

    apples

    prunes

    peppers

    pineapples

    dried beans

    lentils

    legumes

some who start to eat natural fiber will get gas to help with this eat parsley / fresh chives/ fresh basil/

  7. Eating an apple every morning 15 minutes before your breakfast is a good start. Apples contain an enzyme that is a natural colon cleanser.

Linusit Gold (linseeds) are great. A tablespoon sprinkled into your breakfast cereal, and over salads, stir fries etc helps. Have it twice a day.

Plenty of fresh fruit and veggies. If you can tolerate the veggies raw, even better.

Aim for between 2-3 litres of water a day to ensure that you are well hydrated.

Try and aim for plenty of fructooligosaccharides in your diet too.

  11. You need to eat green leafy vegetables, and drink plenty of water.  If you get enough raw fruits and vegetables every day you won't really need to take fiber.  This is my experience and I go 3x a day.
