How can I get traffic to my new yahoo group?

Question

I made a group for people interested in piercing because I didn't find any that I liked, not that there were many...Does anyone want to join Everything_Pierced? How do I moderate a group fairly? I've never done it before. I pretty much just want everyone to be civil and I want to keep spam off my group.

to get traffic, copy the promote code and paste it to other sites like myspace, personal sites that generate more page hits, that will direct those people to your group.

to be sure members are civil- add this to your files going to new members:

this is a good Yahoo reminder of member behavior. you use your own judgement mainly for anything else, after a while you're sure to get the hang of it!
