I lost my glasses WAY last yr., & I just got new ones yesterday. They feel weird on me, & my doctor said I should wear them all the time.

  1. They may just need to be adjusted to fit your head and face better. Take them back to where you purchased them and have the optician work them and bend them a bit to see if that makes them more comfortable. Otherwise, if that's not what the problem is, then it's just something that you will get used to eventually. Maybe one day you will decide to get contact lenses instead.

  2. Constanlty clean them... you'll see better mate!

  3. Just remember that THESE eyeglasses are the perfect match to you skin tone and face and with them on you are stunningly beautiful and make men's jaws drop. They also increase your IQ and make you mentally healthier. SEE!

    8~)

  4. All you can do is wear them... they might give you a headache for the first couple days while your eyes adjust.

Just keep wearing them and they will get better soon.

  5. Give it a few days, it will get better. I had to same problem. If its not any better after a while, don't hesitate to get another exam. Something might be wrong.

  6. By wearing them.

  7. Stop thinking about them, and never take them off.

  8. It'll get better, just hang in there!

I once went 3 months with only one contact lens (yeah, I know that's pathetic but I'm a starving artist, it happens).

When I finally got new ones, I kept tripping over nothing and bumping into things.  It only took a couple days to get used to them again though.

    Good luck.

hmm...now I wonder if you mean it's strange seeing through them or actually wearing the frames.  ah, either way, I've been there, give it a couple days.

but, if they leave marks on you or really hurt, then go get them adjusted.

  9. You will need to break yourself into them. Once you get used to them you will need to wear them all of the time. To break yourself into the glasses go ahead and wear them for a few hours then give yourself an hour break and repeat the process, and slowly decrease the time between not wearing them and eventually you will get used to them.

  10. Explain to your doctor how they feel weird and someone on his team should be able to adjust your frames where they feel more comfortable to you.  Usually you sit with them while they adjust so you can tell them as they work if the frames feel comfortable or not so they can continue to adjust untill they feel right for you.

  11. Usually by wearing them you will get use to them.  However, that does not mean they are adjusted correctly or even the correct lenses.  If after a day you still feel uncomfortable have them checked by another optometrist.

  12. I recently got new glasses too and before that I mainly wore contacts. It felt really weird when I first put them on and I felt kind of dizzy, but after wearing them for a couple days I got used to them. So just wear them for a while and see if your eyes adjust. If not, go back to your eye doctor and tell him/her.
