How can I get wireless internet ?

The company I work for is about a half mile or less from my house. and they have wireless internet. Is there some sort of antenna that I could buy to pick up the signal?

  1. I dont think they make antennas that can pick up a signal from that far away.  


  2. No.  That's too far away.

    If you already have an internet connection in your home, you can create a wireless network by buying a wireless router.  Your computer will need to have a wireless card in it to be able to connect to the wireless network.

  3. Contact AT&T. They have wireless internet and a variety of other connections for your computer. Fasted internet and phone service ever.

  5. No. Most signals from routers work 400 feet indoors, and 2,800 feet outdoors. Since you're probably in a residential area, there's a lot of interference, so your chances of picking up the signal are slim to none. You would have to be outside and have a clear view, and even then it wouldn't be as easy. Instead you can just get your own internet haha
