How can I get wireless internet ?

The company I work for is about a half mile or less from my house. and they have wireless internet. Is there some sort of antenna that I could buy to pick up the signal?

I dont think they make antennas that can pick up a signal from that far away.

No.  That's too far away.

If you already have an internet connection in your home, you can create a wireless network by buying a wireless router.  Your computer will need to have a wireless card in it to be able to connect to the wireless network.

Contact AT&T. They have wireless internet and a variety of other connections for your computer. Fasted internet and phone service ever.

No. Most signals from routers work 400 feet indoors, and 2,800 feet outdoors. Since you're probably in a residential area, there's a lot of interference, so your chances of picking up the signal are slim to none. You would have to be outside and have a clear view, and even then it wouldn't be as easy. Instead you can just get your own internet haha
