How can I grow a plant in a bottle?

I've seen they grow em in bottles like these:

Seems like some they use soil, some with water.

I really want to make one like them, please anyone tell me how?

first, you put in the soil and the seeds.

then you water it as necessary.

or you can get those cool aqua globe things that have a drip irrigation system type thing
