How can I hang heavy posters without damaging the wall or poster (no holes)?

Well, they're not really posters, they are heavy wall covering samples I need to display. I've tried velcro and they fell after a few days. I can't put holes in the paper or wall. What can I use that won't damage the existing (very expensive) wall covering when removed? Hot glue, double-sided carpet tape? Will these damage them?

Hot glue and stickey tape will only damage the wall covering when the poster is removed, you could attach them to the ceiling with picture wire (just metal wire) or use drawing pins which will only make a small unoticeable hole, you could try blu tac but that may not be strong enough.

You can get glue dots. They're removable adhesive that won't damage the poster or the wall.
