Question:

How can I have moisturized hair?

My hair is sooooo dry, it's like twigs. I rarely use any heat styling (straighteners, curling irons...) and I wash it every other day. I have dyed it several times, but it shouldn't be THIS dry. I use Aussie Catch the Wave Shampoo and Conditioner, and sometimes Paul Mitchel Super Skinny Serum or the Super Skinny Relaxing Balm, but I even stopped using those. I now use an organic olive oil moisturizing hair lotion which helps, but I'd love for my hair to be naturally soft and moisturized without having to slather oil on it. So WHAT CAN I DO??

  1. I have over processed hair and what I do at least once a month or so is use mayonaise.  It sounds really gross but buy the cheapest mayo you can find and slather all over your head.  Then wrap plastic wrap around your head and let sit for about 2 hours.  You will be amazed at what your hair is like after, washing and drying.  Also try going 2-3 days without washing your hair, then your hair has time to build up good oils.  If you have to wash your hair everyday, don't use shampoo just use conditioner.  Hope some of this helps.  Good Luck

  2. Honey will do. There is 2 way to use honey. First way, rub honey right into your like shampoo. After 10min, wash it out. That'll waste a lot of honey. The second way, mix honey in water and  wash your hair in it after using your normal shampoo.

  3. Try deep condition your hair. After washing lather on a conditioner then cover hair with a shower cap. Use a blow dryer and heat your cap and hair for 10 to 15 min. three times a week.

  4. cold water

type in benefits of a cold shower on google

the cold water is good for your hair

    it makes it shiny

  5. It may be your water.  Do you have a water softener at home and a filter.  It works wonders on keeping your hair healthy and your skin moisturized as well.

  6. O i tell every body Use that shampoo/ conditioner from matrix. It is so awesome. it works perfect on me

  7. Do you have a stylist? If so let her tell you if you need moisture, keratin, protein, oil... etc. Sometimes we think our hair is dry when actually it is over processed and needs cutting or other attention. If what you are doing is not helping it sounds like you do not need oil. It sounds like you do need moisture so try  aquage hydrating shampoo and conditioner. You also may need a keratin treatment and some protein treatments once a week for a while.
