  1. train your core in wrestling they trained our core and i think i got better

  2. basically what everyone above me said. u will need to have proper technique to hit harder. after u have the technique down. u need to bend ur legs and make sure u have a full shoulder turn. that will add a few miles to ur strokes. instead of hitting with spin, hit flatter. u need to hit through the ball to do that. u need to hold racket firmly, but not too tight. u do ur regular backswing, but don't rush it, then accelerate the racket (swing faster) to hit the ball. that should allow u to hit harder.

  3. use your legs, and rotate your hips

  4. swing faster

  5. Get someone to show you exactly how to play each stroke and just keep hitting balls for hours harder and harder. It will soon be so natural you won't even have to think about it.

p.s I cant play wii tennis at all!

  6. Get a wii! And practice tennis on wii sports!

  7. To hit more powerful tennis strokes, it definitely depends on the grip. If you're a beginner, I definitely recommend using the Eastern grip on your forehand (google it in... the pictures/explanations on other websites explain grips better than I can on the Internet). If you're more advanced, move closer to a Semi-Western grip. The grip is important because it dictates how you hit the ball. Also, if you choose a comfortable grip for your game, then you'll be more comfortable while you play, thus enhancing your ability to  generate maximum power on your strokes.

Next, make sure to grip the racquet VERY loosely. For a while, I gripped my racquet harder because I thought it would add more power to my strokes. A friend of mine told me to grip the racquet more loosely and to my surprise, I noticed my strokes were more clean and had extra power. The reason for this is because the looser grip allows you to generate greater racquet head speed (the speed with which you swing your racquet), which is the best way of getting more powerful strokes. Becoming stronger and more muscular in both your upper and lower bodies also helps you gain power on your strokes, but it's mainly how fast your racquet head speed is. This is possibly the most important facet of the game and I cannot stress its importance enough.

You probably know this already, but the groundstroke that is the most "powerful" in the game is the flat forehand/backhand. To hit the ball flat, "open" up your racquet face as the ball comes toward you and try hitting the center of the ball from mid-waist height and follow through across your body. If you need more information in order to learn this powerful shot, you might wish to consult fellow players, other Internet websites, or just send me an e-mail and I'll try to clarify it a little better.

    Good luck!

  8. Well, first of all to hit harder you need to be stronger.  Second, make sure to hit it on the sweet spot, that greatly increases the amount of power.  Make sure to swing through the ball.

  9. You do not have to kill the ball to have more powerful strokes.

You need a lot of ACCELLERATION on the ball when you spin it. FASTER racquet speed.

By doing that, as you continue to get stronger, you ball will have more jump and you will be able to put more on the ball.

    Hope this helps!

  10. practice

  11. Like Jay K said, use your body mass, not just your arm, to hit the ball. This means turning your hips prior to beginning your stroke.

  12. use your entire body to hit the ball.

you might also want to invest in a training racket, which is pretty heavy and forces you to hit the ball harder.

it also has a smaller head, which means you have to be more exact in the way you hit the ball.
