Question:

How can I have straight nice hair with...?

I have really thin layered hair that come up to my shoulder.

The problem is that some strands of hair are so unmanageable and go the way they want! I tried the straightening iron and it got me a nice collection of double splints, ughh I decided to use it only once in a while.

Is there a product (plz do NOT recommend some messy product that makes hair sticky) that could make my hair straight and flawless?

P.s. does washing them in cold water make it better? O.o

  1. There are loads of shampoos and conditioners for 'smooth and sleek' hair, I used the pantene one, it did tame the frizz down. Also, for the hair that's unmanageable, get yourself a weekly deep-conditioning treatment. Use it until your hair is as soft at the ends as it is at the roots.

And if you do need to blow-dry or use the straighteners (I would have thought fine hair wouldn't curl up as much), heat protection spray is a must!

As for the cold water thing, you'd want to RINSE with cold water, after you've shampooed and conditioned, because it closes the cuticle. So yeah, it might help a bit to rinse.

  2. You need to use a leave in conditioner that u put on your hair before u dry it. The best I've found I got from a hair salon my sister works there and after she cut my hair she used a spray in conditioner but I use some she gave me in a pump bottle that u apply by hand.

  3. i have the same thing, go to a salon that someone reccomends (like i go to my mom's) and tell them ur prob. they'll be glad to help

also its a good idea to COMB it straight, not brush it

i'd grow it out and put in long layers if i were u
