Question:

How can I heal a blister real fast?

It already broke open in my sneaker..

But it stings when I go swimming now..

  1. Broken blisters are gateways for infection, so make sure you put antibacterial cream on it (i.e. neosporin) twice daily. During the day bandage it to keep it clean and protected. Make sure you use a large enough band-aid that only the pad is touching the blister; none of the adhesive should touch it. Swimming is going to sting because of the chlorine and other chemicals getting into essentially an open wound. Keep it covered when you swim with a waterproof band-aid.

    At night, take off the bandage to let the wound "breathe" and then in the morning wash it with soap and warm water, apply neosporin, and bandage again.


  2. Let the blister dry to open air. Do not apply anything over it. A blister stings when touched with water so just keep it dry. There is no other way that will fasten the healing of a blister.
