How can I help animals?

I absolutley love animals, and want to help them. I am already a vegan, and I am planning on starting a group so that other people who want to help them may do so as well. One of the things I want this group to do is to educate people on the brutal treatment of animals. But I don't know specifically how we can do this. Does anyone have any ideas? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much :)

Best way to help animals is ask your local vet/pet shop or animal shelters.

Also, study online and look for any information about animal.

You could also go to National Park Gateway center, visit Jamaica Bay Wildlife in quiet town of NYC, which is bird sanctually.

You could also look for course that involves taking care of wildlife.

You could watch Animal Planet channel and see how people take care.

Like ASCAP (Animal Police in NYC (I don't know how it abbrev.)

Also, Animal Cop- Houston.

They also show how to rescue injured bird.

Also, you could borrow or purchase "Hoot" DVD.

It give you idea how you could rescue.

This movie is based on Owl. There was construction worker trying to build on owl's habitat by ignoring it, but boys/girls stop the workers.

Also, DVD contains how you could start your animal habitat in your backyard.

i would love to do a nonpts  shelter

but cant now
