  1. it is called socialize; punish him if he isn't nice; set up playdates; if he is nice set up playdates

    ellie and hannah

  2. find someone that likes the some of the same things as him and then set a play date.

  3. More details could help....like is he shy, new to the area, etc.

Get him involved in some summer day camps.  Then invite those kids over.  Allow him to have other kids over to play.  Make an attempt to get to know other families with kids in your neighborhood/building/on your block, and invite them over.

If it is that he doesn't want to play with other kids because he is watching tv, playing video games, etc. then you need to set limits on that stuff.  Like an hour of each a day, the rest of the time playing.  Depending upon where you live and what you have accessible to you get him outside and riding a bike, and playing.  You may need to play with him some, and then get friends/neighbors involved.

Look at his class photo from last year and have him pick a few kids to invite over this summer.

    Good luck.

  4. Set up a play date at your house.

Try it with several different kids and never more than one at a time.

Join groups where other parents have similar aged children (play groups, church groups, etc). If you get to know the parents, your child will meet more people.
