I hadn't lifted weights for a while until two days ago when I worked with a personal trainer. I worked mainly on my arms so it's understable that they be sore. However, my left arm is more than just sore. I wince when I lift it, I can hardly put my hair up, I can't lift a drink to my mouth without it hurting or even scratch my forhead! I'm really worried and it throbs constantly. What is wrong with me?

  1. If you work a muscle too much, you can tear it. You probably overworked it and the fibers started ripping. Take it easy for a while, take an aleeve, tylenol, advil, etc. You can ice it if it helps the pain. Also, you can buy a product called ActivOn for joint and muscle. Maybe it would help with the pain. Hope I helped!

Also, here's a link to a page that has ActivOn on it. You can buy it at almost any drugstore or pharmacy:

  2. You are not eating enough protein, take a quick protein shake with like 50 grams of protein. ALso you need magnesium, potassium and calcium to have strong muscle that relax when they are not in use.

If you double your dose of a chelate/citrate the pain will be gone in a few hours... add protein to it and you could heal faster.

Minerals are included in ISOPURE so you dont have to spend extra money on minerals if you just get the protein mix. Not all protein shakes are created equal.

I take ISOPURE and never have pain and always have blow out workouts. I cant believe it works that well but believe me I am a baby about being in pain. I never ever want to feel pain like that again.LOL. You can order ISOPURE online or get it at GNC.

  3. i had a work out like that the other week i literally couldnt walk when we were halfway through and it didnt get any easier so i was dead afterwards. it was about a week before i could fully walk without any pain and it took me four days before i could climb stairs without wanting to scream. i was really worried that i had permenently damaged the muscles but it just took time. bananas help alot (note my user name) and they can keep the cramping down. ib profain too. good luck but i think your just gonna have to stick it out...remember pain is weakness leaving the body =)

  4. Heat Pad

i had to do that today because i was so sore

just leave it on the parts where its sore

and you will feel much better

    :D
