  1. Give him the happiest home that you can.  Greet him in good spirits when he gets home from work.  Pay extra attention to him.  Keep him happy in the bedroom.  When he gets in a bad mood, think of ways to make him feel better.

  2. He misses his golfing buddies and what is familiar. Or the new job ain't what is was suppose to be. Get in his world. Plan activities with meeting new people. 3 months and he will be happy.

  3. The problem with being in the military is you have no control over your own life. you sell your soul and then kick your own a$$ over it. he will adjust, he has no option. just remember you arent the problem, he needs to see your the solution.

  4. Did you relocate for his job or yours? Relocating for your job might be making him feel somewhat inadequate or insecure as a man/provider. I suggest that you try to find some of the same kinds of places that he enjoyed at your old home in this new place. Men are typically creatures of habit and once he finds haunts and the new versions of the same old places, he will warm up. All you can do is be there for him will he adjusts to change... men don't like change. Hopefully he knows and realizes that what he really needs around him for him to be home... is you.

Having said all that you can't let him take advantage of this new change to treat you like c**p... give him some time to come around but if keeps moping and picking fights, tell him to man up and take an active roll in making these new surroundings a place he wants to be.

Well if it was for his job then he just has to accept it and make the most of it. As a husband you would think he should be the one trying to help his family feel better about the move... leadship is not just a trait you use in the field, he should lead at home to. Time is the only thing that will help...again, help him to find new versions of his old haunts and vices.
