  1. Tell her that she have children that really cares about her and if she want stop for herself. Tell her to stop for you.

  2. I had the same problem as you have. I was young and my mom didn't want to quit smoking. So what I did was, I went online to google and just typed in Smoking Effects. I printed off some information, I showed it to my mom and expressed to her that I wanted her to be around when I get married and how I wanted her to be there when I go to prom and to be a grandma some day. I went through the papers I had printed off and explained things to her. I think that hearing things from me instead of her doctor really changed her perspective on her life style. So try these things and I hope things will go well with your mom.

    Best of wishes!

  3. First. Dr's can be over-dramatic at times. They told my grandparents the same thing 20 years. They are now 87 and 83, and still smoking.

Second. She has to want to quit. Nothing anyone says or does will make her quit. She has to do it on her own. If anything it will make her smoke more because you will irritate her. You can bring it up once, but that's it. Let her figure out the rest.

  4. when your mom takes out one just fall to the floor holding your throat saying "i cant breath"or just tell her how you feel.
