It is really sad. I would see if you could email him or write him. I think he needs friends more than any thing.

His disease is extremely uncommon and rare and is very difficult to cure. Leave it to the doctors. I guess is lifestyle is much more difficult as he is poor with not a lot of money. You could set up a charity for him and raise money for medical research and for him to work less hard with his poor condition. And somehow directly give it to him rather than going through 3rd parties as you would want to ensure he recieves it. It would be very difficult to track him down and also be very time consuming
