How can I hide a lip piercing?

Question

All my life i only had my ears pierced, until summer of 07 I convinced my parents to let me get my tongue pierced which I still have & now i want to get my lip pierced but I'm scared to ask because they said my tongue was enough. I want to get the smallest size hole possible too so I don't have some big hole in my lip. So I was thinking I could get it pierced when school starts back since I'm going to be at school most of the time they'll never see it.. now i have 3 questions:

1. Whats the smallest size needle/ring?

2. Is there a way to hide it good while at home?

3. What side should I get pierced?

as far as size I think there is a standard size they pierce with. That is how it was for my nose stud, but once it is healed I have seen clear studs for that kind of stuff. I wouldnt have any idea as how to hide it. Except a stud might not be as noticable as a ring. I never had to, I was 24 when I started tattoos and other than ears piercings. But that is the extent of my piercing knowledge. Hope it helps alittle.

okay the smallest gauge you're gonna get is probably... a 14 gauge. Pick the side that suits your features or feels right. Obviously there is a healing process so you're not gonna wanna be handling it and taking it in and out when you're trying to avoid your parents. Once it's healed, i know a girl who wasn't allowed to wear hers to work so she would stick little pieces of  fishing wire through the holes i know it's kind of ghetto but it worked. There are special studs you can get that would be good for the healing that are skin colored and not really noticeable unless you're up close. I know you don't want to be babied but PUHLEAZZE keep in mind when you get this particular piercing what happens is the back side of it rubs up against your teeth and / or gums and can cause damage that way.

i would do the middle of ur lip. and the piercing can be verrry small almost as small as ur ears.
