How can I hook up my laptop...?

How can I hook up my laptop to my tv through my VCR? I am using a special cord from a video camera that I have hooked up to my laptop to my VCR that is allowing me to get the sound. My problem is that I need to know how to get the visual aspect? Is it even possible or do I have to have special cords or do I have to use a projection system. Honest and true answers only please!!! I have a Dell Computer Latitude D630. I have a Sylvania 2 in 1 DVD/VCR player. Thanks ahead for any help you can give.

I'd say give up and stick to what you did with the sound and just watch the stuff from the laptop. Best of luck!
