How can I host a gold party?

I just saw on NBC Nightly News that a new trend right now with gold prices being high is to host gold parties. (kind of like tupperware parties, only guests make money instead of spending money) Guests bring their own gold jewelry that they don't want anymore, and a gold buyer will buy it according to weight so they can sell it for meltdown and reuse. How can I host one of these parties? How do I know that the service is reputable or licensed?

I just spoke with someone at mygoldparty.com and they were very helpful.  They have a link on their website to a refinery that will also give you cash for your old gold.  Its another alternative to throwing a party.

I would think the hardest part would be finding a willing AND trustworthy gold buyer..... throwing some food on the table is the easy part.

Call some local jewelry stores and ask them what they suggest.  Research current gold prices on the internet so you know you are getting a good deal.  Good luck!

I just got off the phone with a mygoldparty.com represenative.

They were extremely helpful in any questions I had. They seemed very knowledgeable and informative on the Gold Party trend. They informed me that they have a book that will tell you anything you need to know from A-Z on gold parties. I went ahead and purchased one and cant wait to start making some big money.
