  1. There are many many sites where you can identify your plants. I find this site one of the best....its got a large plant database

    http://www.maltawildplants.com/

    These are other good websites

    http://plants.usda.gov/

    http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/

    http://www.hort.uconn.edu/Plants/

    Hope I helped!

  2. The easiest way is to take pictures and post them here and see what results you get. If you post pictures, you can get a flickr or similar account and link up to your pictures. Add some helpful information about what you observe about the plant and see what answers you get.

Next thing would be to take some pieces to a good local nursery and see if they can help you identify them. If you do this, place the pieces in a cooler with a little ice to keep them fresh so it's easier to identify.

You can go to the library and look through reference books. If you are not at all knowledgeable about plants, this can be completely overwhelming.

These are the easiest ways. I vote for taking pictures and posting them here and giving us a chance. Good luck. :)
