  1. first of all spell volleyball as one word. go to summer camp. it will seriously help

and dont be too cocky next year cuz there might be really good players comin in next year and if you are cocky they will eat you alive. just a work of advice:)

  2. From my experience. u cant just say i can get so much better over a summer. u need to join the club and practice with them. If u r going to be a freshman after the summer, i say if u have all the basic down, then u r a good freshman player. Just remember, is a team sport for physical and mental.

  3. i am a setter too on my high school team. i am in a summer league-ish thing and we start practices the first week of august. you will need to build up speed because no matter where the ball goes on the first hit it is the setters job to get the second hit, so you tend to do some running. i also practice setting against the side of my house. there are also weighted volleyballs you can get to help strengthen your fingers.

  4. camps, private lessons, whatever you can get in to.

what helped my swing was practicing serving a tennis ball.

practice footwork drills, in the house try your approach for a spike and swing your arm. practice your vertical jumping

oh and hit the weights. bench press, squats, everything. the stronger your muscles are, the stronger your serves and spikes will be

    practice practice practice!!

  5. im a libero, cool then; another player;]

im on a JO team (club), but thats gonna be over in summer. so i would say if your highschool has open gyms or camps like mine does, go to EVERY ONE.

if not, play in your backyard, or lay down on your back and set to yourself, or set against a wall.

and go to the nearest YMCA or Excel or any gym and work out all summer.

    it will most deff help.
