  1. Be careful.  A co-worker's 17 year old son died trying to push that at home in a pool.  They found his body and a running stopwatch.


  2. Try Hyperventilating.

  3. Hyperventilate before you hold your breath so there is an increase of red blood cells when you take the last breath to hold in (so you can hold more oxygen).

    Also do respiratory exercises and running really helps.

  4. You can buy a very cheap device called an UltaBreathe which exercises the muscles in your lungs! I got one on Ebay and one for my man too as he is a footballer and needed the extra lung capacity!...they really are great and worth it
