How can I improve my defensive skills?

I really need to work on my lateral reflexes and stuff like that.

  1. I would suggest doing sprints to work on reacting fast.  Also strengthen your legs by doing wall sits, it really helps.  Always stay low and on your toes, don't be on your heels because you wont be able to move to the ball.

  3. practice rolling and diving, and hav someone throw balls at you and you have to dive to get every one.

    sorry, it's something you have to learn from expiriance or instict

    when i play libero, i don't think about anything but where the ball is. i slow the game down in my mind. i start moving before the ball does, and you have to aquire that be playing a lot

  4. suicides, and practice rolling it really benifits in a game. always stay low and do squats because they make it not as hard. shuffling across the end line and having someone throw balls just a little to you right or left then rolling is great

    keep moving also, my team mates were laughing at this girl on the other team once because she didn't stop moving like sweeping her feet back in forth but she honestly missed very few balls
