  1. I would start doing jogs every day or every other day. You can do it at a local track or at a gym or anything. Warm up for 10 minutes by doing stretching exercises everywhere- knees, abdominals, ankles, shoulders, legs, etc. Make sure you do it every time before you run.  If you start feeling like a cramp is coming, when you're running, breathe more evenly and run it out. I wouldn't drink excessively before you run but in quick sips every so often during the run.

You could even start swimming some laps, which I find helps me because swiming is also a sport where you need endurance. Hopefully, you'll get better and better so that you almost won't have cramps at all after a while!

  2. Yeah; Wrong section...

Try not to eat before you run or drink a lot beacuse thats how you can get cramps.

You need to take it easy and try to JOG longer distances.

    and spirnt shorter distances.

Depending on how old you are *im 13 and wuz told to run about 4 times a week*

You need to slowly increase your distance and run alot.

    i know you propbably hate this but;

The only way to get better is practice!

  3. Eat bananas, they help cramps =]]]

Well, you should start running 200 m a day until you feel really comfortable with that.

Then, you should go up by 50. Spend at least 2  or 3 days before you go up by 50 again, so you can really feel comfortable.

You should slowly be able to build up to 400 and more.

  4. Eat bananas and do warm up before do any kind of sports.

  5. first things first dont listen to anyone who tells you to jog during your race. jogging is a big NO!!!! for your endurance you just need to run more outside of meets. do more distance workouts during practice, go on long runs (35-45 min at least once every two days), lift weights-getting stronger will improve your speed and endurance, eat well get sleep, stay warm whenever your running, always warm up about two events before your race, there's so many things to do to take care of yourself and improve your endurance.

  6. Wrong section.

But by practising, and eating right, and correct breathing

  7. 1. Stretch throughly before running

    2. Eat something small about 30-60 minutes prior to running.  It should be something healthy like fruit or a granola bar.

    3. To improve endurance start out small.  Create "sets" for yourself such as run 8 straight aways (down to the other side of the track) and give yourself a time limit (a watch would be helpful).  Maybe start out running every other day, and then gradually increase the time you run and the length of the sets.
