I want to be a good diver, but i have trouble with flexibility. I'm pretty skinny, but i'm the only one (in my diving class) who can't touch my toes! Does anyone know any special stretches i can do to make this easier?

  1. yoga.

  2. Even though that flexibility is important you shouldn't rely on it. If you want to improve your flexibility you should try doing gentle exersizes like toe touches and water arobics ((This Works Very Well !!!)) Good Luck ... I HOPE THIS HELPS !!! Ward ... x

  3. Gravity stretches might help,

you put your butt to the wall and lift your legs up, then you bend your back up, (you can put your hands on the ground to support yourself) and touch your nose to your knees.

  4. No need to feel awkward if you fail to touch your toes. Even I had this similar problem at the initial stage of learning diving. The instructor asked me to follow hundred push-ups a day before trying to touch the toe. It worked miraculously and even before trying to dive, I was able to see my fingers touching the toe. Try it...though push ups and pull ups are part of gymnastics, it will prove helpful even to a good swimmer and diver.

    Best luck.
