My toe-touch jumps, pikes, hurdlers, roundoffs, and back handsprings (I can't do a back handspring without a spotter) need some work. How can I improve them?

  1. Join a dance studio

  2. Practice sweetheart. Also try a trampoline.

  3. For toe-touches and pikes, try laying on the floor and doing it, without jumping. My old cheerleading coach used to have us do that. With a pike, make sure your back is on the floor. With a toe-touch, move your arms while you're on the floor. Hurdlers, I truly don't  know.  Roundoffs, stretch your leg muscles a good bit every day. It helps with a lot. I am not a back handspring person, so I don't know about that. Hope this helps!

  4. abs, abs, ABS!! Work your abs every other day. This will help you soooo much!!

  5. All you have to do is practice and if you have a trampoline that would really help. Also, there is a websites that you can go to and practice your toe jumps. Go to varsity.com. It helps with your toe touches, it's a great warm up, and it helps stretch your leg mulsces with is really good. Stretch your legs and do the straddles more often. Also, you can do the straddles during a half hour show. Dont worry during commericals you can get up. That really works. I do it all the time since i cant go down that far. Well, i hoped i helped and remember go to varsity.com. good luck!! : ]
