I go into the marine corps on sept 8th 2008 so I need to get in the best running shape of my life. I bought a pair of Nike+ shoes with the ipod adapter to track my running to show my improvement but other then what this program can offer me how can I improve my running? What legal suplliments can I take? What should I eat? What should I not eat? I ran today for the first time in half a year and I ran 1.23 miles in 9min 37 sec before having to stop. After that I pushed myself between running and walking for a little over a mile over the course of 12min and 30sec. I really want to get myself as prepared as possible physically. I am 18 years old and weigh 150lb. any and all tips are highly appreciated. if any more information is needed just ask. Thanks in advance
